I’m picking up that this may be your Fiero? Not exactly my cup of tea. Let’s get that Exocet of yours on NPOND for $8500 and see what happens.

I wish I could go back in time to tell this guy to not sink so much time and money into a Fiero. If only he could have just worked on an MR2 or old Porsche or Volvo wagon or Miata or something else. Sad No Dice.
I’m right with you on Bollinger. I’m kinda angry at them that they had such a great concept but kept digging their heels in against reality. What kind of idiots are thinking they will build a modern automobile that just skips airbags, safety standards, etc. The head of this company is the epitome of someone who…
So much so, that I am seriously considering the idea of a 4Xe Gladiator. Sneaking into the office on no gas and plugging in there is very appealing.
I would be very much excited about a $50k 200 mile range electric truck. It’s not hard to find a Tacoma optioned right up to that number and it would have relatively terrible fuel costs.
A huge percentage could be convinced -- smart ones who love the idea of paying less tax and less money for fuel. The dumb ones will soon follow suit. The legitimate long haulers will go electric too, just in the form of hybrid.
I hear you. I think you can genuinely compare a $75k electric truck with a $60k or even $50k gas vehicle (price range where there are a ton of trucks sold), if the TCOO is taken into account. That big initial tax break (especially for business owners and farmers) quickly makes that truck $68K and the fuel savings is…
Aapparently, you do not get credit. Maybe a participation credit.
I see plenty of $75k trucks and none of them had a tax rebate of $7500, all of them cost way more to fuel than any electric truck, all of them are noisier than an electric truck, and all of them cost more to maintain than an electric truck.
Nice! The metric of “first into production” might ought to just be first to 1k, 5k, or 10k units
I think the high spec Chevy truck is called the “Ugly AF Edition, Now with More Grille!!!”
Ford, itself is fucking with the F150, if I do say so myself. When Ford gives Rivian $500mil to develop an electric chassis, I’d say that meant Ford was behind in the pure electric game.
Nobody has voted Rivian yet, so there’s my vote. I like that truck, it has plenty of big time funding, it's not ridiculous looking, there have been numerous production ready prototypes out and about, and they’re built in the old Talon/Eclipse factory (that gets my sentimental vote). They’ve established a little bit of…
Especially since, considering the ages and relative irrelevance of the vehicles listed, this is a "battle" that might have been timely in, oh, say, 2017. There's plenty of other YouTube glory to be had in 30 mins.
We’re talking about comparing to a turbo Subaru here — the real measure of acceleration is how fast the vape cloud flies out the window.
Good thing I saw this headline reminder about the Bristol race being on dirt. I’ll certainly watch this race now. Will be the first Nascar race I’ve watched in a while. Shoot, I need to tell my Pops, he might actually watch, too.
And of the tractor trailer drivers, the ones hauling fuel seem to be pretty careful. Not sure why. I rode with one guy for a bit on the highway and the dude would get on that cb every couple minutes to tell other semi’s to back the hell off. Usually, I think I’m a pretty attentive driver, but that guy took…
I love that your house is nothing but a series of garage doors. Everything about you appears to check out.
Were you, uh, spying on me? Everybody wonders how I got the streetlight in my basement. Your version of events checks out.
