Wrong market. UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Walmart is the market... For a cargo pod. Maybe a “driver” to monitor, maybe not. Could be mixed modal, able to load onto/ off a traditional delivery truck. A passenger scheme is too small an audience at the initial volume, but a delivery company might go all in if it sped up delivery

Heuliez has done plenty of wonderfully batshit prototypes like the Citroën SM “Espace”or the Citroën BX Shooting Brake below. But to keep with the sliding door theme, that SuperCinque Van has nothing on the lovely 1966 Osi DAF City. Sliding door on the left, suicide door on the right. It’s a car lover’s doorgasm!

What boggles my mind is that a company actually produced a working flying car more than 60 years ago.

Peugeot has shown us how to do it wrong...

Sliding doors are the best thing ever for a small, practical car. The Toyota Porte does that today, and it’s the Japanese car I most wish could be sold in America.

What could possibly go wrong?

Make sure you have plenty of these.

I don’t see a problem.

The ever-resourceful Bozi was also helpful when answering my questions about if the mileage information is available anywhere else on the car. There does seem to be such a way, and it’s known as the “Distance Run” parameter.

Shame on you, Ferrari!

I think we can establish that the Chiss had some ethnic variants as well. There were the Cheddar Chiss, the Swiss Chiss, the Parmesan Chiss, and Thrawn was, of course, Blue Chiss.
