A lot of it has been how FF has presented itself. Both at last year’s CES and the presentation last night, FF has made it seem like they will CHANGE THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING YOU KNOW THROUGH #DISRUPTION right out of the gate, while Lucid seems to be just quietly working on building a car.

I think the emissions testing and other modifications rule this out as a public show car. But maybe internally it was used as one. Probably less restriction on things done internally, though.
