I think he did his diligence, but the data he needed wasn’t provided for this. I’m not sure anyone even knew this would happen at all, and he seems to fit within Hyundai’s stated design parameters. I just think hyundai either needs to redesign this part or make the limitations clear to buyers. Really, every carmaker

No, but you could tell that your head would be rubbing. Here, I’m not sure there’s any way he’d be able to know this part would fail when he bought the car. If he is outside their parameters, okay, but the buyer should be made aware of these things before buying.

No boom today. Boom tomorrow. Sooner or later: Boom!

If so, then my personal motto taken from Tolkien, “Not all those who wander are lost.”

He did get his wish.

“Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.”

Now playing

“I’d like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up at your lifeless eyes and wave like this. *waves* Can you and your associates arrange this for me, Mr. Morden?”

I love the lead-in to your quote: “A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.”

I liked that, so I invested a bit of work.

It’s my estimation that every man ever got a statue made of ‘em was one kinda sombitch or another.

Right now? At this particular time and place in history? It has to be Captain Malcolm Reynolds:

“I aim to misbehave.”

“Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you’ll know tomorrow.”

I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

I am literally typing a response.
