Sometimes the strangest in the business. I await his Magnum Opus, the interpretation of Star Wars, Illuminati, and why some drinks come with little umbrellas, using nothing but different taillights and VW technical drawings before 1975.
Probably most will not see the dragstrip for 1/4 mile. I don’t think it is FCA responsibility to put a rollcage in for you. It would be nice and have the hard points set up to weld carpet cut outs. And if that is your worst problems.... Life is good.

Dyno test! If it breaks the dyno, extra points. Due to the rated HP is under actual crank HP. IIRC, most Hellcat estimates were 720 to 726 HP. At 840, that could be an extra 50 HP, If FCA isn’t just yanking everyone’s chain, and its closer to 1000HP. I don’t think it will dyno that high, but you never know, the…
EPA testing. If you have to install it, Dodge probably not have to test the tailpipe against it. Might be why it is not using E85.
We all care enough to leave a long winded comment, this is the Internet. Now, if you will excuse me, I am buying a lottery ticket so I can afford the Demon, pay someone to read all the advertising fluff for me while I try to keep it out of the wall on my first fast pass.
Crushing the dream. :)
Agree.
Does it come in brown?
No worries, I don’t let any Boss or manager drive to any event or function where I am a passenger. I was stranded for a shift at the Florence store and my car was at the Covington store. Was a long time ago, but I still will always drive when travelling for work.
No, that’s fun. Its not your build, and if something goes wrong its not your baby. Now, have Dave Tracey over and convincing you to sell your reliable car to do a project car over the weekend, and you need a car for work on Monday.... (It will only take Saturday, what’s the worst that could happen?) Oh, and no proper…
I don’t mind my wife’s driving. I did wake up the time she did a 360 on the freeway on patch of ice. I only drove after that because she wanted a break ( was on a clear stretch of road)...
But rod knock just isn’t funny. Especially if it knocks twice.
Replaced my car. All those annoying things (not running, stereo not working, alignment borked, repeated repairs, worn driver’s seat, lack of storage for vacation trips) were gone in one fell swoop.
Why can’t you go to the junkyard, get your $50 parts and see if you can mate it up with the engine? Can you swap pulleys and wack together a new bracket as needed (if you weld), or did you want to keep it all original?
It won’t be a true F1 engine. I don’t think most owners want to run the heater block on the engine for 30 min to an hour before driving to heat up the components/ block enough that the pistons can move freely. Or is that no needed to get the tight engine tolerances desired in an F1 engine?
Wrong market. UPS, FedEx, Amazon, Walmart is the market... For a cargo pod. Maybe a “driver” to monitor, maybe not. Could be mixed modal, able to load onto/ off a traditional delivery truck. A passenger scheme is too small an audience at the initial volume, but a delivery company might go all in if it sped up delivery…
