Just wanted to point out that the Palisade also has a neat trick where the silver accents next to the taillights also have delicate, thin strips of LEDs on top-end trims like the Ioniq 5.
Is there a way for an American to get a rally license, too? Asking for a friend...
I currently have 7 Candylab cars and I love every one of them, some gifts, some.I bought myself. My favorite is definitely the teal wagon complete with magnetic surfboard. I was a backer for Candylab on Kickstarter back in 2016 and I am very happy to see them succeed.
My b, was referring to the French leak:
Looking at the rest of the leaked pics, the grey RR is definitely the LWB version and proportionally it looks way too fat and bulbous. This version is the one I would assume would have the third row as well, which I can only imagine will make this car an even more direct competitor to the GLS and X7.
Parents have a new fully-loaded Passat and the things they never use include:
Fun fact: The 2008 Infiniti EX35 was actually sold with a self-healing clear coat that would do exactly as BMW describes. It would fill in minor scratches and swirl marks when in left out in direct sunlight. It apparently was hit-or-miss so Infiniti dropped it.
Very true! At least the MK7 and MK8 look way better than the Kona N ;)
2022 will debut new GTI, new WRX, new Si and Elantra N. Plus the GLI is still around and very good
Well if the MK8 is anything like the MK7, you’ll be able to swap the stocks and struts for the ones found on the Alltrack for a solid 2" increase in ground clearance. Yes, still FWD but pretty cool nonetheless imo.
I rented a now previous gen Outlander earlier this year when I visited Shenandoah NP and man did that car feel like a dog. It was mediocre in the truest sense of the word and the only redeeming thing about it was probably its emergency-use third row seats. With the second row slid forward to allow room for third row…
According to Car & Driver the Tundra does not have a generator function similar to that of the PowerBoost in the F-150. I also can’t find any mention of it in the official press release, so point to Ford I suppose.
The sources I’ve read (C&D, Motor1) have all stated that the V8 is dead. Toyota’s own press release also states that the base 3.5TT is the successor to the V8, with the 3.5TT hybrid being the new flagship motor.
Crazy how the GLI will basically be 30-31k and come fully loaded whereas a new MK8 GTI starts at 30k and to get features that the GLI has, you’re looking at almost 40k for the GTI.
Yes I’ve seen it lol. Yes, the advertising is a bit... generous, but who cares? It’s not like Nissan is the only one advertising their soft roaders in this manner and for the vast majority of Pathfinder buyers, they know they bought a crossover, not a 4Runner competitor.
I dunno, I’m actually kind of excited about Nissan for the first time in a long time. Their Rogue and new Pathfinder are really great (yes, I know we’re supposed to hate crossovers but that doesn’t mean that they’re not good), the Z is supposedly going to come in a manual and TTV-6 while also undercutting the Supra in…
In the case of the new Outlander, it’s based off the Rogue and shares its powertrain but has a far better 10 year/100,000 mile warranty, is larger with an emergency-use third row, and is simply a better value. If I were looking for a Rogue, I’d just get an Outlander. Your point stands for everything else in their…
You forgot to mention the coolest part of this car. The LED DRLs flash RS3 when you unlock the car!
Still dimpled but still a downgrade to the MK7 imo
