Spotted when I took a trip into town:

The current 4Runner’s wiper is tucked beneath the roof spoiler which should also be copied by more companies. 

The 3.0L TT in the Aviator is the same one in the new ST/Platinum, all three are tuned differently though.

The Explorers with the 3.0 are rated to tow 5,600 lbs, the 2.3 at 5,300 lbs, and the hybrid at 5,000 lbs. I’m sure the Aviator then will probably be 5,600 lb.

Is that thing on the roof supposed to be some kind of radar?

I agree, I rented a 2018 CX-5 during my last vacation and found the screen location to be absolutely perfect. I think that when people go from a car with a “more integrated” display and then one like on Mazdas, they will realize the benefit of having it up high.

You say the Flex is dead but I went to Ford’s website and it’s still listed as a 2019 model. I thought 2018 was supposed to be its last year but seeing as though Ford’s already eliminating all their passenger cars, maybe it will stick around for a little longer?

There are two knobs on the dash for the dual zone aircon and there’s a volume knob next to the cupholders so you’re good my man

Gotta disagree with you, the vertical third brake light is wicked. Also the new nose and cutline of the hood definitely looks reminiscent of a slant nose, which I also love.

I like the exterior, but that interior is hands down a home run. It looks incredible! Sure, there’s still a protruding screen, but that is the only demerit I see and if I’m being real honest doesn’t even matter to me since I like the ergonomics of having the display up high.

$61.5k for the truck and $65k for the SUV, both after the federal credit. Definitely tough pill to swallow but hot damn these are good looking vehicles in my eyes.

I drive on this road every day and there’s a dirt road that runs parallel to it which is what we see the mail truck driving on. I always thought that this was usual behavior as I’ve seen it done before. It’s also mainly used for side-by-sides, tractors, and ATVs since farms and nurseries line this road
