You are 100% correct. I would never buy one, the Accord and Mazda6 are far more compelling vehicles. I’m just glad that it actually looks decent for once!

I actually think the new Altima looks great; its proportions are spot-on and it looks like one solid chunk of metal. The new V-Motion grille design reminds me of Japanese bullet trains.
S3s for a short time were offered in that yellow, Viper Green, and Glut Orange for a brief moment in 2016. I’m pretty sure it was one of these because when I peeked inside it had the matching door trim and stitching.
These pictures remind me of the yellow Audi S3 I saw yesterday at my college campus. More yellow cars!
I love how they put this tech in not the E300 and not even the E43 but the E63.
The G01 X3 just went on sale and the G05 X5 just made its debut like two months ago and are still RWD so we won’t be seeing a “next-gen” until like 2024 at the earliest. And let’s be real, BMW wouldn’t do that to any model with a number that’s a 3 or higher in its name.
Ha, the wealthy Brickell and Miamians don’t come to Homestead, it is much too agro and not lavish enough for them. I’m sure the only reason they ever step foot in Homestead is to get to their third home in the Florida Keys.
Oh man, this takes me back! Great and funny advertising.
That looks bad.
This car is almost definitely going to be larger than the new Santa Fe because its been rumored for a while now that this Telluride and the upcoming Hyundai Palisade will be larger to more directly compete with Atlas/Explorer/Traverse.
I also find the ~200 mile range disappointing because if it looks this embarrassing for M-B in 2018, then it will be even more so when it goes on sale in the U.S. in 2020!
Isn’t this guy that mattress millionaire?
Damnit Kinja ate my photo :(
Also, yeesh... This is an unflattering angle. Methinks the Audi E-Tron will most likely trump this in exterior looks.
Finally, a production car with (almost) full-width headlights!
Doesn’t that tier allow you to go from an M3 one week to an X5M the next? The whole point is that it isn’t just one vehicle, you have your pick of any M car available. That’s why one would select that subscription service.
They’re on preorder right now and you can order it on their BackerKit.
I’ve been a Kickstarter supprter of CandyLab since last year and now have of their models, my favorite being the 80's Redux station wagon + green camper combo. Hand to heart if this VW model sees production I will be buying it!
oh man I am pumped!!
I have the same CandyLab Pioneer! I love their toys but I never realized that they sold a VW Bus... I need it!
