Agreed

a rear-biased AWD setup

Is it worth the (possibly substantial) price premium over the V90?

Dealers can stock the current V90 so I’m hoping that that will remain the same for the next gen.

1993 GMC Jimmy, white

Yeah and look! No unpainted black plastic mirror caps or door handles! This looks very fetching for a 14k economy sedan.

I was 14 and a freshman in high school and I read the November issue of Car and Driver and for that issue’s comparison test, it was the 2010 MazdaSpeed 3 and the 2010 Volkswagen GTI. Something inside me literally ignited and I fell in love with the anonymous hatchback from Wolfsburg. Before my love at first sight, I

That’s the one that was coming to mind but I couldn’t remember the name lol. What a stunner.

Cadillac Elmiraj.

idk, neither the Fusion, Edge, or Escape have a prominent bumper sill whereas the car pictured in the teaser definitely does.

Fueleconomy.gov says that the 540i runs on “premium” which I’m sure is supposed to mean 91, no?

diesel is quite a bit more expensive per gallon than gasoline, eating up much of the savings

The E-Pace is FWD, unless you mean its rear-biased in the way that the AWD system sends more power to the rear.

Except the new QX50 is FWD, hardly a Skyline station wagon. As odd-looking as the old one was, at least it was RWD.

There’s already been spy shots of the 2019 Silverado filling up at a diesel pump. They’re probably more ahead than you think.

Wow thanks for all the great info I seriously appreciate it. I spend my fair share of time on the forums too and this isn’t my first VW but I like to hear what others do to keep their VWs running. My Golf TDI had 91k miles when it was bought back so I’m hoping my GTI will last much longer than that.

I just bought a MK6 GTI and I love it but worry about long-term reliability. If you don’t mind me asking, is there anything you do that keeps it running trouble-free? Like do you baby it? Do you thrash it hard? Do you change the oil every 5k miles?

Styling is subjective and I like it. What else you got?

What’s wrong with the Terrain? What makes it so much worse than anything else in it’s class? You can get a diesel! That’s cool.
