You can acknowledge that obesity causes health problems but that feeling awful about one's body actually doesn't help. Now, if we could get the multi billion dollar junk food industry out of our lives.... that would help.

Nope.. the exact same products here do not use mexoryl. Believe me, I have checked the pharmacies. It was only approved recently in the U.S. and they still use another combo that's supposed to block UVA but doesn't work as well (parsol 1789/avobenzone.) I just have to buy it online... Thanks, though!
Yeah, it was pretty obvious that you were horrified by her choice. The only sunscreen that really works well is mexoryl. This is NOT inactivated by the sun and blocks uva better than most. It is only easy to find online. I don't see it in pharmacies. Of course zinc oxide in large concentrations (think lifeguard white)…
You were a kid in the mid "aughts?" I feel so ancient... so very ancient.
A wall of flowers? That is incredibly decadent. I'm gonna guess that environmentally growing all of those flowers just for a temporary wall is pretty awful (but then again all flowers meet that fate; it's just such a huge amount.) I really do not like big weddings at all so I've been trying to avoid reading about…
I'm living in Philly now and I'm totally agreeing with you on the Philly Cheese steak... it's so dry and tasteless... and Utah's jello with carrots? That is so sad...just sad. However, I grew up in NJ (also agree with you on the salt water taffy. It has no reason to live) out side of NYC and NY pizza is the best. The…
Orange candy and orange flavored things are evil. They have none of the delicious fruity tartness of real orange and often all of the bitter. Orange jam with bits of bitter rind is particularly gross IMHO.
So the computer makes you need glasses? I never heard that, actually. (I'm a physician but not an ophthalmologist.) I would discuss this with your ophthalmologist if you haven't already. They might have some ideas.
Computer work can cause eyestrain and headaches etc.. I don't think that there is any evidence that it can permanently damage your eyesight, though, so I wouldn't worry. I would try to get new glasses, however.
He did better than that guy who had Romney's logo tattooed onto his face..
No no I don't.
I was being mostly facetious. Testosterone does affect behavior but women have it as well (albeit at a lower level) and there are many other factors, obviously! I would think that a small joke at the expense of a dominant group wouldn't be that offensive.
Yes, but he ended up killing himself over that ideal system so I think the maladaptation was at a level not seen in most of these people. I think it could have been this toxic culture in conjunction with a problem picking up social cues (and subsequent virginity) that might have interacted. Of course, the toxic…
I'm sure it goes beyond that. It's just bizarre that that's what he attributed everything to in his video.
true
He appeared a touch, um, androgynous but I think he likely had normal young male testosterone levels. It's just that his sex drive seemed to rule him in every way. It's pretty sad. I know most guys are not like this.. obviously.
Yes.. I went to medical school, so... yes. I was being partially facetious but I do think that sex drive and testosterone are related He had a frustrated sex drive that ended in violence. I know his physical appearance was somewhat effeminate but not incompatible with a normal male testosterone level. I was partially…
Right? He must have known that some people live in dire poverty or with physical disabilities or medical problems requiring frequent hospitalizations and seem to adjust and deal with less anger than he has. Testosterone is a dangerous chemical..
I normally hate that we feed our kids fast food like it's a nutritious staple. However, something about Chris Martin taking his and Gwyneth Paltrow's kids to a fast food place makes me smile.
People vote against their own interests all the time. An atheist who will be an advocate for the 99% wouldn't win while a religious zealot who screws their constituents over will get elected. It's sad. People have every right to be stupid.
