@support25: It's built in to the ROM. There's a CM Wallpaper selector which contains a bunch like that.

Needs more CyanogenMod. I'm interested nonetheless.

Download torrents with rtorrent.

Awesome. I've been looking for something better than the mundane Google Tasks.

@blyan: Absolutely and I'm glad you can see that. Since the hardware is so similar they use custom software to separate themselves. Even the ones that have useful additions are marred with the bloat of the overall OS. I can only hope that this practice will settle down in the near future.

@winshape: This is why banks still run crap written in COBOL, it just works. Your phone is not a bank. Sure I may have the occasional hiccup every now and then but I'll take the JITted virtual machine and new APIs of 2.2 over 2.1 in a heartbeat.

@JimboLodisC: I'll take a 3GS over a 4 any day. Actually I'll take the 4's screen in a 3GS body and hardware any day.

@liquidfork: That'll be never, sorry. No hardware manufacturer is going to be able to port their entire OS customizations to every phone they manufacture with any testing in a week. You're looking at three or four months at best.

@sinth: I can't believe you forgot about Samsung! Unless your edit was just a poor attempt at humor...

@typica1cat: Agreed. There is no other Android experience than this.

@blyan: Android "shit" is linux and linux runs on everything. There are oodles of hardware configurations and oodles of OEM customization to the OS. The drivers and software ports to the new OS take time, money, and testing.

@winshape: So you'd intentionally drink expired milk because it's been around longer and no reports have come out about people getting sick from that batch?

@Dan Del Rio: Thank you for recognizing the fact that the same company makes the iPhone and iOS. Why can't all the fanboys be like you? Drives me nuts.

@Logan5: There are plenty of Android tablets on the Market but none yet from the major manufacturers.

I'm hoping the Boxee Box remote will provide the same usefulness with a lot less of the bulk.

@Louis Andrew: And how many episodes are placed on each DVD? Blu-ray discs are larger because storing 1080p content requires a lot more room. Plus don't forget that there are a lot of extras for each season.

@2 replies: I'm sorry but I have to correct you.

@Bigbadbikernerd: The Samsung tablet will likely have all of those specs. Not 3.0 initially, but I'm sure the ROM cookers will take care of that. A capacitive touch screen is a must have. I own a resistive one and it is abysmal.

I have a Gentouch 78 (which sucks ass) and I'll be getting a Samsung Tab and maybe a Dell variant or one of the Android Archos iterations.
