A few years ago, I realized that, without thinking about it at all, I had just been saving bread bag twist ties. I had no plan for how or when they would ever get reused, they just had a little jar in a corner of a drawer.
On my old CJ, I would regularly drive around with the high beams on because I’d bump the floor switch. As a driver who’s grown up in an era of better lighting, you can barely tell unless you are actively switching it back and forth and looking for the difference. Also most of the dash lights didn’t work, so no clues…
