I’ve heard it’s something in the water.

As a milennial, I might get in trouble for mentioning this, but we are actually meeting late next week to discuss new ways to fuck that up.

There are about a dozen truckers with Grindr accounts parked out behind those at any given time.

The Chevy team’s shot at 50s nostalgia turned into bloated botox face.

Don’t worry. Chevy scooped up this idea.

Doritos Locos Nacho Fries?

In CT historic plates dropped my registration and (stupid f’ing) car tax to almost nothing on a rusty old CJ I had. Some states have rules on the book about it not being a primary vehicle or the like, but I’m not sure I’ve heard about those being aggressively enforced.

Phew. Glad someone said that.

Oh, huh. Yeah. I just sold something on Facebook. I asked $3500, knowing that the right person (late middle-aged, middle-class dude, married and steady income, garage space for toys but not loaded down with toys already, probably prior Jeep owner) wouldn’t fuss too much about that.

This weekend I stumbled upon the sale documents on the 1992 Accord sedan I sold for $800 with 240K in 2014. It had 3 working speeds, and the buyer, a nice guy in Enterprise, Alabama, had a brother whose shop snagged a good trans to pop in it.

I hope this guy gets hit by a bus and taken to an in-of-network hospital but seen by an out-of-network provider.

2018 Fit. Same comment. Also a 6-speed, and I love it. I can pack it with crap when I need to, zip along in urban traffic when I need to, and drive slow car-fast when I want to. It’s the first car since my 1992 Accord that I’ve had any emotional attachment to.

Yeah, the shifter/immersion blender popped out over a speed bump and took a few fingers. Such is the cost of my extensive prototyping program.

“Auschwitz tour was kind of a downer. Snack stands were weak, too. No ICEES? Lame.”

I’m actually working on a prototype to mount on the passenger grab bar in a Jeep for preparing snacks on the trail!

Visor-mounted magnetic knife holder? This has been occupying my brain as I fold laundry.

What about a convenient mandolin slicer that folds forward out of the console to allow for meal prep on the commute home?

The best electric car for a road trip is still a shitty car for a road trip.
