My father has a Gen 1 and loves it for the reasons listed above, but he won’t get a Gen2 because “it doesn’t look cool anymore”. I think that’s how he is phrasing “looks like a CRV”. I’ve known him for 3+ decades, and it’s the first time I have ever heard him make a purely aesthetic choice.
