That’s a fact. The only baseball player I recall being a dick was a senior catcher when I was a freshman. He was awful. And I remember him trying to yell at another freshman on the team, only to have a few seniors stand up to him.

That seems like a bit of a stretch to me. The town is trying to railroad a young black man for having a relationship with a white woman. She seems to be an unwilling party to it, having been forced there by her abusive dad.
