That’s true. But it’s also not what the majority of people voted for. So there’s a lot of unwilling participants in this circus. Me included.

+1 for fatalism!

Same. This totally made my day!

While I understand the legality of this decision, it’s still total BS. It’s a sad situation no doubt, but I refuse to have empathy for a man who, once again, in the most dramatic and ultimate way, choose to escape responsibility for his actions and their consequences. Gross.

If only the American public, and the FBI, were as interested in the resolution of actual crime. We’d have a much more equitable and just society.

to prompt one of the top teams in the East to blow out the back of its diaper and then blame them for it.

I feel like you post this quote every time a there is a Peggy Noonan article. If I’m correct, then bravo, sir! If not, then I think you should start doing that.

Yasssss! Preach! I say the same thing.

Agreed! What in the actual fuck is wrong with these people?! Other than Spanier actually witnessing the abuse, evidence doesn’t get more iron clad than a fucking email chain, in which he’s included, about Sandusky abusing a child in a shower and then the three of them decided to withhold that information from police.

Wow! Bravo! You managed to pack in almost every Republican prejudice and hypocritical stance in regards to women in one entertaining paragraph.

There is no equation where giving public money to a PRIVATE BUSINESS for THEIR OWN PROFIT is helpful to society at large. And it drives me insane that people defend this

As already pointed out by the poster above, his sons. And as pointed out in the article, his sons’ high school coach. I’m sure there is a long trail of bodies. People like that believe everyone is someone to be used as a means to their own ends.

Is it really necessary to point out he’s an asshole? This shouldn’t be news to anyone. His shtick is not harmless fun. It’s not possible to be that arrogant and not be an asshole. And continuing to give him a stage to pontificate from will just make him a bigger asshole. Fuck him.

The idolization of ignorance is becoming as American as apple pie. Sadly.

Yaaasssss! So right!

Yes, agreed. I don’t throw that term around loosely or lightly. The concerted effort by Trump and his minions to cast immigrants as the root cause of society’s troubles (i.e., his VOICE department, etc.) are right from the dictator’s playbook. So too are his immigration policies that seek to punish said immigrants to

Yup. We can all make jokes, but it’s really happening. This is how the Nazis were born.

Ahahahahahha! YES! TGIF!!!!!!

Thank you. And thank you for your equally thoughtful response and enlightening conversation!
