I hope I'm correct about where I think this is going, as well. Because I'll be as put out as everyone else if Dexter, Harrison and Hannah make it out of the country and everything else is tied up in a neat little bow.

Errr, what does that have to do with ANYTHING? lol

Except that repeatedly throughout the course of the show everything leads back to the fact that Dexter CAN'T change. No matter what he does, no matter what he tries, no matter what new epiphanies he thinks he's had, in the end, everything always goes to shit because he is nothing more than a psychopathic (and

He wants to kill Saxon because he (Dexter) is a psychopathic serial killer and the guy fits his "code". Stop trying to over think a show that was never very deep or believable to begin with. It's pulp man - just go with it.

Season two was not fun.

So pleased that you gave honest, snark-free props to the Spartacus season finale. Look, I cried, and I AM NOT a crier! In all honestly, I was shocked. First I was like, "what is this liquid stuff falling from my face?" And then I was like, "why the hell am I feeling sad about this show filled with oiled-up muscly

Neil Gaiman suffers from the fact that he wrote one of the best comic book series, followed by one of the best novels of a generation and will always be judged against those accomplishments. 'The Ocean at the End of the Lane' is a very good book, but it doesn't come close to 'American Gods'. If it wasn't from the guy

Waxahatchee and Disclosure are two favorites for me so far this year. Waxahatchee in particular caught me off-guard as I knew nothing about them (her) prior to Stereogum posting a video from that new album. Disclosure just pushes a happy button for me because it's good without yelling at you about how good it is. I

Game of Thrones is a great show, but Rome was better, and it should have had more seasons.

Have you read it? The review seemed a bit over the top in it's dislike to me.

Regarding the Sandman related material that came after the 75 issue main series; if you don't want to read it, don't! The 75 issue main series is self-contained, the only reason to go beyond that would be the desire to remain with the characters and locations you grew fond of previously (other than Lucifer, which is

Daniel is perfect because he ISN'T Morpheus. How could he possibly be anything like a being that had been alive, literally (one would imagine), as long as the cosmos itself, if not longer. Death was there before the first living thing stirred, Dream came shortly after.

Comic books have made me cry exactly twice (kind of).

An F? Really? There's no agenda there at all, I'm sure. Probably not based on any preconceived notions or hate filled baggage that was carried into this reading, either.

LOVED the Blackberry commercial. It's the only one that made me wonder what the hell was going on, which keeps me staring at the screen.

Didn't like the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial this year, either. Everybody else I was watching the game with thought it was great. It didn't work for me. After some thought I came to the conclusion that I just have too much personal, life experience association with "Landslide" to let it push the buttons they were

"So god made a farmer", or some variation thereof, has become my new go to phrase.

You win my super special most awesome comment of the day award.

I'm just not buying it, and I've really tried. They could have been making this kind of music all along if this is what they wanted to do. It just feels fake to me to release something like this after making music for so long. It's like, they're trying too hard.

What I'm hoping is that he (they) were actually able to record more than one albums worth of material in the last 20 plus years and that we might see more of it released before we're all collecting social security checks.
