Well, somebody probably is, but thank you for not doing so. I should have framed those Death issues a long time ago. Maybe in one tall frame with all three issues and some matting. I probably won't get it done now.

That sucks! (Thinks twice about saying so, because it's WAY too geeky, but goes for it anyway) All three issues of my Death: The High Cost of Living are signed by Neil and Chris Bachalo. The first issue is also signed by Dave McKean and Jill Thompson (I know she has nothing to do with that issue, I just wanted her

I'm a regular talkbacker at AICN, have been since 1999 or so. My name there was, you might have guessed by now, jaka (because for some reason their old bbs didn't allow capital letters on user names). They recently switched over to Disqus and required everyone to register again. When I went to create my new Disqus

I've just realized I completely missed the point of expense being a factor in the conversation. I guess I just got too excited about Sandman.

Nice! I'm sure that was worth it. Saga is currently kicking my ass.

I refuse to do so anymore, with anything. Got burned too many times.

I found it nearly impossible to put down once I got to 'The Sound Of Her Wings' (issue eight, mentioned above). I've read it many (MANY) times in the years since it ended, but I was reading it monthly starting around issue six, and I'm sure that warps the memories of my first time reading enjoyment. Back then it was

Yes! Without a doubt the art and the storyline of the first arc are the hardest to tackle. Most people who get to issue eight, the first appearance of Death, are hooked until the end.

There isn't that much Sandman. The first 75 issues are the only required reading and they probably equal a couple long novels in total. No excuse for not tackling that one if landmark comic books are something you're trying to check off the list.

I'm not sarcastic enough for the A.V. Club comments section. This makes me sad, as I always thought I was fairly solid in that area.

It's also the name of the double LP it's featured on, where it's placed 19th out of 20 songs. Said album features Lindsey Buckingham exploring recording, production and mixing techniques that have probably not been touched since (and never will be), cost a fortune and would never have been possible if they hadn't been

Dude should tell us what he really thinks! I dig both his bands, though, so cool beans.

Honestly, it didn't deserve this many words.

Who?
