Lol it’s not a large part of the audience, it’s a stubborn, very vocal part of media illiterate gamers. Most players understood it fine, but they’re not the ones constantly misrepresenting the facts to suit their weird power fantasies. These are people who have never read a book except maybe Harry Potter.

I thought you liked this show. Obviously the show was going to spark this dialogue so I don't see how you could be upset if you agreed with the concept of making this show.

Yep, the action was great - and as some-one who hasn’t played the game (though I still game on my PS3 occasionally) I’m really liking this “classic HBO quality drama formula” -adaptation of the content. I’ve legitimately never seen Ashley in ME2/3, in all my play throughs, because in a choice between boring and racist, I choose boring. I know she allegedly learns and grows by ME3, but Shepard doesn’t know that when making that choice.

Plus Ashley is a space racist and her name is already Ash

I know the story has been out forever and all but can we get at least a bit of a spoiler warning on the headlines? Especially since this is an adaptation so we don’t really know what to expect from episode to episode. I now know 100% going in what to expect and that kind of takes some of the wind out of the sails. Or…
