Two minutes and sixteen seconds of sustained cringing. I had to go check on all my devices after that. -_-'

How did you play all of WW in 10 hours? You sound like one of the Xbone executives with your back up against the wall, it really makes your argument all the more effective.

Do you even video games?

Thanks for the tip. I bought it maybe a year ago and never got around to it while I was so caught up in other titles. I think the only time I played I tried the No Mercy L4D heist and was just so frustrated that the bots wouldn't shoot out the security cams at the start. I was having too much trouble knocking out all

Is Payday at all playable with bots? I'm posted overseas for 6 months and there aren't any servers nearby, but I'm dying to give it a shot.

As an American who has lived in New Delhi most of my life, I've enjoyed the incredibly low prices of PC games here. It used to be that most games were distributed through Milestone and other distribution houses instead of through the publishers themselves, and Milestone would set the prices. It's really frustrating to

Half-Life 3 confirmed.

Because all Zynga needs is a dude with a bowl cut to save their business.

So Pikmin 3, a new Zelda handheld title that takes advantage of the 3DS features, a new Mario & Luigi title, a rerelease of an acclaimed Zelda title, a major 3rd party game in Bayonetta 2 and innovative new IP's like The Wonderful 101 and hardcore centric platformers like the new Donkey Kong are all "swill"?

Cheers! I guess I can come out of hibernation and stop lurking now.

Well there's no doubt the market focus is shifting, I agree. Not to name drop, but I took a course this Spring with the creator of Age of Empires and Titan Quest and he had some really interesting comments on the way things are going in the industry. Guys like him (who are legendary designers in their own right,

I was worried about that too initially, but then I read that Iwata and Miyamoto both insisted this was a one off thing (I'll try and find the source for you.) With most of the community abuzz over the XBone and PS Bore, a Nintendo presentation with nothing but 3DS and Wii U game reveals would have looked incomplete.

Hrm, I must be watching a different Nintendo Direct feed. That would explain the Barry White and dimmed lights.

Iwata is a smart guy. With these Nintendo Direct videos, he's exposed himself to enough consumers to be instantly identified as the face of Nintendo. Even with a lower approval rating, the board would find it far more difficult to remove him than they would a faceless exec with no connection to the fans.
