Oh, I absolutely agree. I just think that invoking the free speech clause in the US constitution makes it easy to deflect an argument that is actually pretty serious and much more deep that simple legalities. The more we allow censorship of anything, the more we invite the consequences.

It isn’t protected. Let’s be clear, I am with you that speech shouldn’t be censored (even considering that what they are censoring is horrendous). But the US constitution has a very weak protection of free speech, in that it only protects citizens from the government censoring them, not corporations. Which is…
