In my opinion, it really starts to pick up around episode 4. As other commenters have mentioned they have a lot of world-building to get through and establish in those first few episodes. For me, the world-building was enjoyable, though. It felt like a very authentic and more realistic take on near future…

I commented recently to a friend that Westworld is what happens when a Black Mirror episode is unnecessarily stretched out over several seasons. The Nolans have always struck me as being those kids who really want the teacher to know that they DID the reading assignment.

Yeah, I am just not really sure what the point of the show is anymore. I mean, of course there was going to be a second season, given the success of the first, but it should have ended where the book ended. Not knowing what happened to Offred is really the perfect ending to the story.
