What's bullshit is that the show runners decided to stretch out an entire battle over one episode and then rendered that choice totally pointless by excluding Stannis. This show can do more than that (as they proved with Blackwater, where the action was accompanied by major character development). It was an entire

Stretching this entire battle out over one whole episode was basically pointless sans the Stannis payoff. Yes, having a big action set piece is cool but it's a bit superficial for a show of this caliber. Todd is right on the money here.

Downvoted for inability to understand casual satire.

They've definitely integrated a lot of the ravaged landscapes and imiseration of the the commonfolk motifs into the Arya/Hound story line. They're going to speed up Brienne's story line (they already have). D&D don't need to drag out or pad story lines since they know what is going to happen to all the characters.

I think some of my fellow book readers are a little in denial about the inevitability of the show finishing the story before GRRM (that's ok, I was too for a while). D&D don't have to wait or draw out any storylines unnecessarily so GRRM can catch up since they know where all the characters are going. Hell they've

He posted it here because he is responding specifically to something that was said it THIS review. Pretty simple.

Sith Lord Sansa has a nice alliterative ring to it.

It's hard to read these comment's sections at this point because ever other post is someone who thinks they're super original with their Princess Bride reference.

    My pick:

The showrunners have already confirmed that ep. 10 will be as "big" as ep. 9 this time around.

He does mention scattering in the next clause, but it is a really awkward use of the word. Doesn't really make sense in context.

I agree. Also the Next Week On teaser is exclusively scenes from the Wall. "The Children" could also be a reference to Stoneheart's motives, but yes it will ostensibly be the Children of the Forest. Bloodraven has been cast for this season.

I think insofar as the battle at the wall has Stannis actually coming back into play in a real way (instead of just hanging out and brooding) actually will make the wall very interesting.

I've heard some theories that D&D are going to use Yara (Asha) as a sub for Victarion.

Yeah, I definitely think that they were intimating that Petyr and Sansa had a plan, and she improvised to make it even more convincing and also give herself some leverage, which impressed (see: aroused) Petyr.

The "Next Week On" is all scenes from the battle at the Wall.

Brienne meeting her would be the big reveal.

    Thanks. My mom agrees.
