Cathy (midway down the page) doesn't have as many formatting options, but it's extremely fast, creates an index of your files that you can search whenever you want (like when the device is no longer present) and you can export a text file (full list or just directories) of any folder.

The site seems a little sluggish and adding a task had a 1-2 second delay. It seems like a great idea to combine calendar / email and todo list, but the implementation isn't enough to make me switch from [checkvist.com] just yet.

For anyone who's using this, does syncing preferences include about:config changes?

@Tim Chen: Thanks for the reply and clarification. I wasn't aware of Schwab taking down their offer. I'm glad I got in on it when I did :)

@fiji.siv: There's a healthy concern for privacy, then there's paranoia. Being afraid someone knows two credit cards I use falls into the latter category.

Hmm, it didn't find the two cards I currently use, and they have better cash back benefits than the two it found.

@2 replies: Glad to be of assistance :)

@Skyjumper: I do the same thing, and waiting 5 minutes for this solution to work is slower than LogMeIn, though even that is slower than I'd prefer.

@ARodX7: Good point. It seems superfluous.

@willy1234x1: Same here. Nice to see another Linode fan :)

@nh0j: My sentiments exactly. Cool technology, but it's a solution searching for a problem.

I've been using PortaPutty, not only because I love saying the name.

@codyw: True, but the 50MB file size limit makes it less useful.
