@benalexj: I do the exact same thing for my 3 and 5yr olds.

@Crashproof: Blech. I hadn't used Zorro much, but it sounds crappy :)

I use AutoHotKey to minimize the active window with Ctrl-Alt-m. I originally used WinMinimize,A but found that some Windows minimized to a small title bar on the desktop instead of disappearing completely (ActionOutline and ToDoList are two that behaved this way).

@l337_7r4d3r: Are you sure about that? The profile folder contains all your extensions and bookmarks.

@Crashproof: Try Zorro, a non .NET app that does the same thing but handles dual monitors.

@Prairie Moon: I did have some tabs open with Flash content. I reinstalled from the newly released version. Even though the bits were probably the same, it seemed to have helped.

I've been running the betas and RC candidates and RC2 is the worst so far. RAM usage went from the normal ~250MB to over 550MB. I hope they release a fixed version instead of declaring RC2 a go.

@NorwoodIsMyHero: I'm not one for doom and gloom, but the unemployment rate doesn't account for the underemployed (part-timers looking for full-time) or those who are still out of work and no longer qualify for unemployment.

@Red Rocket: Are you sure? You'd have to have $45K in your checking account. My guess is you'll get $140 a year, not a month.

@orkgandalf: Sorry for the long delay. I use it AO almost exclusively for text, so I haven't had to deal with the large file sizes.

@stormheart: I had the same problem. extensions.checkCompatibility.3.6 (New boolean set to false) worked for me.

I'm surprised. I use CCleaner, but only use registry and system cleanup. I prefer Revo Uninstaller's autorun manager, and turn to autoruns for more hairy startup issues (services, dlls, drivers and the like).

Vote: ActionOutline

@Leszek: Working Set Size is identical to the values shown in Task Manager. WS Private Bytes is a little lower.

VOTE: PDF Xchange Viewer

@holyspidoo: I agree. Ever since reading that Winston Churchill took a daily afternoon nap I'm tempted to curl up under my desk when the regular mid-afternoon fatigue sets in.

Our carpet had dozens of tiny dog-pee stains when we bought the house. This delighted the carpet cleaners who charged for treating each one. Even after the treatment, there's still some residue visible.

@Zerbe: What I meant is there's no way to paste a certain entry from the history other than scrolling to it. To paste the 9th item you have to scroll down 9 lines. With ClipX and other utilities, you hit the # (from 1-9) to paste that item. It's much faster.

I installed ClipDiary 1.4 and 1.98 after reading all the rave reviews. Now I'm baffled. Did I get the wrong one? It didn't have keyboard shortcuts to paste items and in my case it crashed soon after running it. I'm back to ClipX.

@jadn: Oh, duh. Zerbe already found 1.98. I tried the US link and it failed so I thought it wasn't available. The Europe link worked for me.
