@Zerbe: According to the ClipDiary history, version 1.4 is the last release before it was rewritten. 1.95 and 1.97 were released as stabile (sic) beta versions but I wasn't able to find them anywhere.

Vote: ClipX

@Acealecto: Tried that, but there's no download link and it says, "Download doesn't provide access to previous versions of this program"

@Phillip Sean Fischer: Seconding Pismo. I blogged about a problem I ran into while installing it on one of my machines and the associated workaround. The author email me, then we spent 1/2 hour on the phone so he could figure out what was causing the error. It's the only tool I've used, but it does exactly what

@UnderLoK: Enabling config.trim_on_minimize (boolean - true) in about:config helps reduce memory usage over long periods of time without restarting.

@ZeroLobster: This isn't a perfect solution, but you can point FileHippo's UpdateChecker and [CleanSofts.org] UpdateNotifier to a custom directory of portable apps. That covers most of the apps I use.

MediaWiki installed on my own server works well, though I use Evernote too.

Two more trackers I've come across are Highxlow (measures your biorhythms from your Twitter stream) and LifeMetric (similar to Daytum).

@DesignHobo: Gee-crelm (second part rhymes with helm) (Pronunciation is in the FAQ)

@SarasvatiDana?: The default isn't that bad, but I prefer BlueMask (a have it a little wider than in the screenshot).

@IraKhayos: There may be a plugin that does it, but by default you just get the current disk activity. I don't know of a good way on Linux to track down a process by disk usage other than looking at the currently running programs and guessing.

@UnderLoK: Agreed. I've used Gkrellm on Linux since the late 90s but the Windows port isn't as good. On Windows I use SysTrayMeter and Sysinternals' Process Explorer for more detailed information.

@dunvi: Same experience here. I tried it a few months ago and after the wow factor wore off, it wasn't very practical. And as I recall it liked to eat memory. Apps using large amounts of RAM are thrown mercilessly to Revo on my box.

I don't see on behalf of in Outlook, but viewing the message headers still shows a Return-Path: field with my Gmail address. It's possible my account hasn't gotten the change yet.

@ossigeno: Ditto. I used Launchy for over a year and loved it. Then I found FARR and haven't looked back.

@snowmoon: Does that mean anyone can do that? No PIN required?

@jackburnt: I use KeePass as well and my solution to that dilemma has been to memorize my email and Dropbox passwords (pass phrases really). That way when I'm away from my computer I can check email or get my passwords from Dropbox. It's worked well so far.

Add-on support in IE7 is a far cry from what's available with Firefox. A green dot to say it's there doesn't cut it.

@FupDuckTV: I'm in the same boat. A few years ago I tested trial versions and went with Sony Vegas Pro. Now that I'm familiar with it, I'm not looking to switch unless this Hive Five finds one that's head and shoulders above.
