“Why, Sally! That’s almost...*churlish*!”
He voiced Dr. Impossible yet looks more like Plastic Man.
Nothing goes over his head. His reflexes are too fast. He will catch it.
I like THOR: THE DARK WORLD. The scene on the boat with Thor & Loki where they finally hash it out is one of my favorite MCU scenes ever. The heartache when Thor says “I wish I could trust you” is Hemsworth’s first great moment in the role.
Man where is the other Marvel hero with an impossibly good and relatable family? He’s probably Miles away. Miles and Morales miles.
Those glowing shapes in Tron that just say YES or NO

I only know about Partition because Doctor Who did an episode on it.
Reminds me of the person they had review Venture Bros. the last couple seasons, who brought up in every review that the show was voiced by like 5 people. By that time in the series’ run, that was kinda their thing. No need to hammer the point every time.

So, I’m torn on this show so far. I think the first episode was great, but I’m hoping Steven takes a back seat for now. Marc would’ve made for a boring first episode lead, sure, but I think we need it to be his show from now on. Him smashing the mirror and the way there’s this violent desperation radiating off of him…
I was shocked to see Benson and Moorhead were the directors when the credits popped up. I love their stuff and had no idea they were getting Marvel Studios work. That explains the great camera and lighting choices. They’re also great at making even the most mundane thing to feel “off” so there’s always an undercurrent…
That invisible Jackal fight was just magnificent. It was fun in a really creative way while managing to also tell a lot about the main character, so excellent job all around. In addition, I was really impressed with a lot of the camera work here as there were some really spectacular shots throughout the episode.
