Yeah, the FOMO issue they themselves are creating has worn out after doing the same repetitive stuff over and over again. I understand the hardcore love the grind, but I just don't think courting that audience works for a shooter, at the end of the day.

So did Shadowkeep, technically! But like I said, combining that with more recycled content, once a year, doesn’t seem like it would be enough; that’s why I focused on that. Think about how they’ve used previous areas like Mercury and Mars, and what activities they use them for. Is it worth it for a different skybox?

I

Does this all just feel like spinning wheels at this point? Recycled locations and raids for at least another year if not two, all with mountains of public events in between... After stopping around the season of opulence, and seeing nothing but bad news about the seasons after shadowkeep, I wonder if it wouldn’t be

This does look really well done, and I love the director, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that seeing a country literally collapse might be a little too heavy for me at this current time...

I liked it, but then again I love Cerny.

Thanks! Just really gets to me seeing a suicide victim spoken of like that, so dismissively, and yeah to also defend people telling her to kill herself as just “trolls will be trolls”. Terrible.

Wish I could make this more visible! Can’t understand why such hate against a victim of suicide is allowed here while we’re stuck hidden.

Is that what’s going on? My comment was visible because hcd4 starred it, but now I can’t see it at all when just loading the page, and I can’t see two replies I got directly. I’ve been a commenter for years, only recreating this account back when gawker was hacked, and I have to say this star system has created the

Wish more people saw it this way. Loved the Vagrant Story/FFXII style. There are a million generic anime games, if they’d have just kept the shading, the characters eye and face shape, and hair the same style, it would have looked fantastic. Shulk doesn’t even look as good as he does in Smash Ultimate, tbh. Shame.

Gonna go ahead and interrupt your self-congratulatory back-patting and remind you that your main points in your first comments of the last article were that online trolls “didn’t literally murder a poor girl with a few mean tweets” and “no amount of internet trolling should make a sane person decide to just fucking

Wow, and here I am replying to other people from 4 years ago lol. Oops!

I love anime and the horn is pretty dumb! Just because some anime is weird doesn’t mean all dumb hairstyles should be accepted as normal, especially to those on the outside.

Haven't heard of them until now! They've advertised the new player trials much more in my experience. As I've said before my account is basically a new user at this point, only my flaw is paid $60 bucks for the game once and a couples months and now I have to pay 13 bucks to see if its worth it again, instead of

Honestly never heard of them compared to free 30 day new player trials, which have happened a handful of times.

As an outsider it feels like the 30 day new player trials are heavily advertised versus these existing player free login periods that I honestly didn't know existed until now. Also 8 days being their longest versus a 30 trial is wack. I could do like the Kotaku editor and make a new SE account and scrub my old PSN and

Here’s the deal: I bout ARR on PS3, transferred to ps4 early on, and only played for a month or so. I've wanted to get back into it several times, but I don't want to pay for a month when there's free promotions for people who haven't got the game yet. And why not? Why bar an account from getting to try the new

Well, I just disagree with the logic there. The analogy with even and odd numbers is too binary. Basically, when the writer wants a character to make a decision only one way, it’s a constant. When it can happen to be different in other timelines, it’s a variable. It’s not like it’s a law of physics that a character

Still lazy handwaiving. Infinite realities means there’s a reality where Comstock appears anyway, or someone takes his place, or infinite other things. Saying “there’s some constants” is the game trying to have its cake and eat it too. It tells us many times through the game that other timelines don’t matter via the

Counterpoint: Bioshock Infinite’s ending is utter garbage, contradicting it’s own split timeline theories by killing a single Booker in a time in his life that wouldn’t erase all other Booker’s, all while handwaiving the game’s reused imagery as a necessity; “There’s always a lighthouse, a city, a man”. Yeah, because

A bugged quest for a gun that’s a port from D1, and likely worse at that. That’s on brand for Destiny 2 at this point.
