We’ll see! Personally, ever since the OP insinuated that the argument isn’t worth having, I’ve been playing Devil’s Advocate, a bit. Having both consoles and PC, I’ve appreciate plenty of games that technically perform better on PC, for instance, or games on Nintendo consoles that can’t hold a candle to the others,

But, this whole article is about how Microsoft AND Epic would not confirm that the XBSX could actually run *this specific demo*. Obviously UE5 will be used on XBSX, but if this demo just happened to be made for PS5, and *could* run on MS’s console, but they didn’t make a version for it, why would Epic not state that?

Sure, 12 teraflops is more that 10.28, but not by much, not enough to make an earth-shattering difference, as some would love you to believe. It’s just marketing speak at this point. One of Microsoft’s great pillars for this generation is “the most powerful console ever”, so of course they would “encourage”other

Which is it? Being able to use specs on hand to determine one is beefier? Or that we can’t be sure that an SSD over twice as fast as XBSX and faster than anything on the market will make ANY difference in performance? I was making two points: the raw graphical advantage of XBSX is historically one that doesn’t make

Definitely makes them seem closer in specs when put that way!

Didn’t know you had both consoles and have run various tests to determine the truth from fiction!

PS5 has SSD’s faster than what’s currently on the market, and that’s not just from Sony’s words at this point. Xbox don’t have that. Ergo, if something required an SSD faster than what’s currently on the market, Xbox can’t

Must have really been excited typing that one, huh?

Better than having your eyes glued to a mini map or compass all game!

Yeah well put. I totally get a lot of MS choices seem consumer friendly but at the same time why get a Series X when everything is coming to One or PC? 18 months seems like a long time. Obviously we knew to expect 3rd party ports, but until we see their new IP or big releases this isn't a great start for a new gen,

Oof, that’s a hard sell.

That sounds like a great idea!

RDR’s train robberies are an interesting case. I didn’t mess with them because the game allowed for money in a lot of other ways, but perhaps if it was easy to flawlessly pull off a train heist it would make getting rich even easier. But I’ve seen NakeyJakey’s vid and anothers and I see how omniscient the law is.

For every detail you feel slowed down the experience, it made me feel more relaxed and engrossed in the game world. This idea of ‘friction’ is strange to me. “Why have reload animations in shooters? I have to take out an entire clip, replace it, AND chamber a round before I can shoot again? Quit getting in my way and

How can a controller *look* pretentious?

I just wish I could get more cherry blossom recipes. I think it glitched for me, I’ve only got 2 so far.

I just want cherry blossom recipes :c.

Shit, the increasing finger count each gen is amazing.

lol alrighty, more power to you. We’ll see how Halo and the extra 1.5 Teraflops helps. I really don’t care, honestly. If Sony can come back from the launch of the PS3 and still outsell the 360, and still trounce XB1 again with PS4, I’m sure they’ll be fine with PS5. Because, yeah, those 3 games you mentioned do

Minecraft? Them buying up Minecraft, a game on every platform, is your answer? Sigh.

If you’re going to bring up Sea of Thieves and Minecraft, then Uncharted 4 and Street Fighter V have solid online communities and are pretty big gets (as well as the numerous single player exclusives, which you’re excluding to better

Game pass is admittedly great for the consumer, but can’t be financially great for Microsoft and the devs and is obviously just them throwing money at the underperforming XB1, which has less impactful and popular exclusives. We really don’t know yet how much their ‘strength’ will matter as the new specs may honestly
