True.

Within 30 seconds, tops, they were also pouring in from every direction, as the aerial shot showed, despite only one small section of the wall being down.

Yup. A well written zombie show staff would sit down before writing 1.01 and figure out all the things a smart group of survivors would do to survive, then come up with zombies with just enough in the way of characteristics—speed, strength, agility, sensory apparatus—to nonetheless make life difficult.

No, I’m sure we can find misogyny in there if we just squint a little harder. Come on! You can do it!!

Yes, it does sound like it.

He knocked out Morgan with a magic clutched fist sandwich, then snagged Carol’s knife off the floor while Denise watched, paralyzed with terror, to cut his hands loose.

In addition, just in case you were going to miss it, the camera zoomed in on the ants like a microscope. But they even fecked THAT up, since the ants were supposed to be visibly crawling over a cookie (get it? GET IT??), but the second unit make the cookie look like a half eaten hamburger.

I’d say it’s completely random, the writers have no idea what this character’s arc is, and anything he does in the future will be retconned to fit the past regardless of how inane the explanation is.

He threw a grappling hook he bought at the grappling hook store across to the roof of a building across the way, then without bothering to test it properly crawled across until the hook pulled out of the roof.

In fact it teetered in season five, starting off with an enjoyable bang but after the first ep it was never ‘not stupid’ in many spots. This season is by far the worst, to the point where nearly every shot, let alone every scene in 6.08 was laughably stupid.

Yes, we were meant to think the walkers were pressing so hard against the wall that it was oozing. Of course, it wouldn’t have happened like that, and they screwed it up anyway, making it appear like a dark, perfectly vertical slice was being cut in the wall.

They were in a basement with no sightlines to zed and with a way out. That wouldn’t have figured into their equation.

The problem with that, though, is that she’s DENISE.

Has this show gotten any stuntwork right since Season Two?

MUHSOOOGGGGGYYYNNEEEE!!!!

Because the show cannot get even that kind of thing right. It bungled the continuity after the tower collapse, laughably so. It blew the aerial shot of zeds flooding the compound (from all directions? Really? When only one small segment of the wall was breached?), and a dozen other bits of nonsense just like it.

Not just one of the latter two, though. Imagine the moping if one is left alive.

The first showrunner seemed able to keep the worst of kirkman at bay. Not Gimple.

The closest they dared go was Maggie being threatened by the Gov.

Well, that and the unutterably shitty writing.
