The problem is, taking the funny out of the Penny character removes her reason for existing and plays to the actress's weaknesses.

This season I've found the show's occasional pleasant good humor swamped by frequent recourse to the cheapest body fluid humor and other grotesqueries. Also, what's up with Kaley Cuoco? She always was largely a hair actor, but I've never seen one fall so hard and completely after getting the wife cut.

Which was a much more interesting decade than yours, however. Doesn't that suck?

Mmm. So they got to King, too.

Isn't Katie Holmes an acting non-entity? She was serviceable in Pieces of April, but other than that what's her acting claim to fame?

One more problem plaguing TWD is that we can't safely draw any inferences. It's impossible to know if we don't see radio boy because the writers think it's obvious he's dead.

"That cute, jittery blond. She with anyone?"

Anyone watching Z Nation?

Good to know. What I saw of season one was wooden.

Novelty and decent special effects.

That you should probably stop watching (or fantasizing) before the next step?

Until they get a new staff of writers the dialogue is going to be plonking and wooden, so the series is going to need to get by on the lead actor's charm, engaging plots and villains, and special effects. That worked well enough in ep 2, but a couple of dead episodes and it's thin enough that people deserting it may

Hell, yes. Great point. And it takes a few seconds to come up with ideas like the guy Rick takes out for his gun is carrying an extra clip or two that Rick spots when he kills him or that just fall out of a pocket as the guy falls, which Rick ignores until the gun is out and he has to roll over to the spares to reload

Well, we've had some discretely photographed Maggie-Glen sex…

All the dairy cows would have died years back though, and all the beefies in stalls would have died, as would the beefies in anything but grass fields large enough keep feeding them, and the heat would have killed some of them. Being in fenced areas, too, would have let walkers kill many of them. That's why venison is

The novels?

Remarkably accurate review. I'll only add that Charlize Theron is a standout in a modest role. She's actually able to play shy and reticent convincingly. That's impressive.

You're learning, at least.

Not to mention that even in a crowd he'd be able to easily avoid any number of punches thrown at normal speed.

Said the whiny bitch who inveighed against my intelligent response, apparently solely because you're a sadly brainless shite. When someone replies to an old article, its in the hopes of intelligent engagement, not in order to raise the corpse of a pathetic loser like you.
