Never saw it played.

Say what?

During which time we had the random suicide attempt becauseā€¦ contrast with Andrea, I guess. Did Beth do anything interesting in season 3?

The sheriff only shoots dead kids.

Yup. It's also not the kind of thing you need to hear directly from the person involved. That her daughter turned and was killed at the end of a massive slaughter of walkers would be major lore in a group that small.

They might do something that dumb, but in the 'real' ZA Daryl will use the raggedy group of pr!cks to find Beth, after which the two will copulate madly.

While I admire your post, I'm still left with the opinion that the Gov is too much like Nicholson's Jack Torrance in The Shining. The character is already so far over the edge that instead of having a tragic element, we seem stuck only with the clinical manifestations of his insanity.

I watched a minute of Girls a year ago. It reminded me of the worst and shallowest of the fringe of my crowd when i lived in nyc. Ugh. Watched it again for 30 seconds while surfing a few months ago. Dunham's character hobbled off in the middle of really weak dialogue to take a shit by a train station.

In the penultimate scene between Carol and Tyrese, did anyone else hear her say "I'm sorry, Ed?"

Not sure if this adds anything, but McBride in Talking Dead was asked what Carol was going to do if Tyrese picked up the gun and seemed like he was going to kill her with it. She surprised me by saying she might well have turned to table over on him.

Generally agree.

Jeez. Am I the only one who, if not shooting Lizzie, would have put her on a leash and taken her to Terminus? They know they're not far away. I would have given that a shot (npi), at least.

I still think Carol should have left Lizzie wandering the world as a shambling miniature.

"House mysteriously has gas flowing: check"

Watch fucking Remains of the Day if you want subtlety.

Tyrese wandering off to deal with random screams a couple of eps back was probably the worst example of this. Not even 'follow me as fast as you can the fifty yards to the yelling', but 'stay here', which is the worst of all possible worlds.

Yes. The kids were two of the five most interesting characters on the show.

You're all mad. Mad!

"There's clearly a story to the fire that bears looking into."

Yup. As usual, the writers go only so far and really think they've got something, when in fact they've only gone just far enough to begin to have something interesting.
