Even with the flaws, I gotta say its one of the more fun games I have played. I still got 40 - 60 hours out of it, and was more than satisfied. Just wish they had a bit more fun end game content (at least early on when I got there). Anyway, Im confident they will learn from their mistakes and am super excited for this!

It’s worth picking up. Despite the issues it had, it is one of the most enjoyable games I have played. Love a good 3rd person cover based shoot. It kept my interest for more than enough time to justify purchasing it at full price. It has only improved since then with constant updates. I am very excited for the sequel!

I think a good mix of both would have helped a lot. I really enjoyed the first portion of the game (an open world which had more linear dungeons for you to explore) but I agree it would have done better with more plot points. But once you get to the next continent and realize that you don’t actually get to play most…

Having played through the game, the story that they were aiming to tell is interesting and very final fantasy. Unfortunately it is very clear that the story was reworked a number of times and a lot of content was cut. So no, I wouldn’t say that the story we are left with is at all interesting.

I personally loved the Division and got a lot more time and enjoyment out of it than Destiny and Destiny 2 combined. I kind of regret buying Destiny 2.

As a kid I got so many Final Fantasy names wrong. I don’t know if I was too impatient to read the name fully or what, but I remember calling Rinoa: “Reno”, and Sephiroth: “Sluth” (i dont even understand how i got that...)

Ditto, I remember being blown away when the vocals kicked in. That was also the scene when Squall really begins to let Rinoa in, which made it all the more special.

Getting them as an adult is very different from getting them as a child. There are a lot more complications that can come if you get chicken pox later in life.

Sometimes ill put my prince out and just as he is crossing the bridge ill release arrows in front of the apposing tower. So if they put down some weaker cards to stop him (skeletons, minions, goblins) they all die and he charges through and does some good damage. Doesn’t always work, but when it does it feels gooood.

Are they boosted up? They don’t look like they are to me, just that they are well supported. Which is something a sports bra would do.

Oh, sorry I miss understood what you were saying. Yeah I really should get back into ff14, it’s a great game. And dressing my Roegadyn Blackmage up as a beefy daddy was very fun.

I love FF14 and the armor they did in the game. I especially love that they did not make much difference between men and women character armor. 

Sorry, character was the wrong word to use. More I was talking about the artistic choice to make it look less like some generic suit of armour, and more like a personalized piece that was custom made for her. I dunno, that’s the sense I got.

It’s really not sexualized. Although the breast plate is formed to indicate that she indeed has breast, it is not done in an over the top or sexual way.

I think they get more of a pass as I doubt they had access to many European born, fluent Japanese speaking actors. Also, Hollywood is very different than Japan’s film industry, they each have majorly different cultural and historical contexts. This really isn’t a fair comparison.
