And how on this blue ball we call “Earth” did you ever think Obama did things differently?

AS a veteran, I have to ask....

You misunderstood. By “us”, I was not referring to you and I, but rather the “royal we/us”, meaning “us as enthusiasts”.

You’re not really understanding “how” they helped.

Because of cost and reliability, mostly.

Because it weighs roughly 200lbs less. Oh sure, the 918 has a good deal better power to weight ratio, even though it is heavier, but those electric motors aren’t very useful past 70mph.....

And the 918 is 3,606 lbs with the Weissach package (those Germans and their dirty words), and has 887hp.

No argument here, it is just rather sad.

While that was indeed horrible and unfortunate, I don’t believe it was ever viewed as “justified”. The officer has been charged with 2nd degree manslaughter.

They likely had a very good reason, I’m assuming this was the reason:

Funny, I still have a 13' 1LE that I bought used in February of 2013 with 6,800 miles. It now has 44,800 miles.

You’re right, it isn’t a vehicle for short people who can barely see over the steering wheel.

When would seeing behind you ever be necessary in a vehicle like this?

You are working under the false assumption that this is a news article, on a news site, with an author dedicated to, and given free reign for the purpose of factual, investigative journalism.

Wrong, the best option is to take out at least a half page, if not full page ad in the local paper, and dare the dealer to try to sue you for libel.

First of all, that link you provided doesn’t add much to your argument. Here’s some excerpts as to why:

That would be my first guess, but I’ve had that issue previously with an older track car that had an ever so slightly bent hub.

No, they aren’t “mellow”. They have the same notes and pitches as a V8 without any mufflers or exhaust tuning, only straight pipes, and yet aren’t as loud.

It is truthful “jargon”, though that really isn’t an accurate use of that term, you know.

Maybe not specifically “bigger” wheels, as in taller, but definitely about an inch wider would help. Those 7-inch wide wheels look especially anemic when the chassis is raised just a fraction of an inch, and those flares are added.
