Which is why on many V6 and V8 vehicles, with longitudinally mounted engines and cats that are generally placed halfway down the length of the exhaust, the temperatures before and after the cat can be cooler, right?

Do you have a pre-cat? Do you have 2.5" pipe, instead of 3"? Are your mufflers straight through, or are they offset? Do you have a cross pipe? How exactly did you test the pressure?
