Personally I’ve never cared for how Ford tunes their exhaust, too raspy and sounding too similar to a simple straight pipe exhaust with no muffler.
Oh come on, NASA always states ridiculously short lifespans for their projects as a way to curb disappointment if something goes wrong, they’ve done this for decades.
I’m quite certain he wasn’t just speaking about vectors, he was speaking about everything.
You didn’t understand the first bit.
It isn’t hard to be “smarter” than a team of JPL engineers, especially where common, or rather “walking around sense” is concerned. I myself am an engineer, although an electrical engineer, and it what they did is the equivalent of me designing a PCB to purposefully short out after a hundred hours of operation.
It wouldn’t have to be anything approaching that, even just an inch of rubber applied to each wheel could have made a huge difference in what was planned for the vehicle, and what it actually turned out to be capable of.
I have to add, that doesn’t seem to be a problem for FCA, or even the older Chrysler/Dodge/Mopar conglomerate.
While I would tend to agree with you because of budgeting constraints, legislative pressures and the like, the truth is that yes, it is still NASA’s fault.
Quite certain that is easy to disable, and if not, RFID is extremely easy to copy and rebroadcast.
No, not really.
No, not really.
This is true, but the shuttle served a greater purpose rather than simply an attempt as a reusable, cost-saving measure. Between the Canadarm SRMS and the space walks it allowed, we made some decent strides. Not just the placement of satellites, but also their repair, something that just wasn’t possible with a capsule.
The new NASA motto:
Good advice, thank you for that.

I want to eventually find one that has been molested, but is in good condition, and molest it some more.
