First, it would be a “more functional vehicle” if the big three would stop with their pissing contests and actually make the damned things functional.

You must be off your rocker, it turns a €31,172 price tag into a €33,791 tag, a difference of €2,619. That’s for the ecoboost 4-pot model, and if you want to go higher in price, the difference becomes even larger, as percentages usually work in that fashion.

By the simple fact that they factor the 10% tariff in addition to their 19% VAT. If you had a choice between two items, both similar in aesthetics, functionality, and base cost, but one is taxed at a 30% rate and the other at 20%, you don’t believe that would impact your decision? Especially when these things are

Long tube exhaust headers have been doing that for years, and provide even more benefit when supercharging a large, and very thirsty V8 engine.

It’s a vague statement, but I suppose it was intended to be, making your precise meaning or reasoning difficult to discern.

The “who’s purest” litmus test, and the resulting cannibalism, backbiting, and general attacking of their own has always been a hallmark of the American left ideology for the past several decades.

Never really had to worry about that in Florida.....

And therein lies the beating heart of an enthusiast. You know what it is, you know what it isn’t, and you still want it, despite all faults. Life’s too short, when you find what you want at a price that you can accept, grab it and enjoy the hell out of it.

Torque mostly, since an inline will always produce more than a V, and as far as NA 4 pots go, every few pound-feet is a big deal.
