Right down to the goddamn Spider Jerusalem smirk. Ugh.

Yeah- Del Webb created cities for retired people. Florida and Arizona both have a “Sun City”, and I’m sure there are others.

They’d do well enough in most of Manhattan. Not on the west side highway, or the FDR, but most anything in between.

That doesn’t hold true elsewhere as it does in the US. If this happened in a place with accessible and affordable (or sponsored) healthcare, then it might be different.

You’d think he’d get a touch up before portrait day.

That’s how the US works. Waste money instead of helping people.

It’s far less inappropriate than spending all that money on making one, single, solitary kid have a good time.

I think the issue here is that the money spent on this could have been used to treat kids with cancer, not that a kid had a fun day.

More of a commentary on how many resources the city of San Francisco wasted on this.
