Car salesperson here myself, now about 2 1/2 years into it. I work for a local family owned dealership group that has 4 stores in a 20 mile area. My pay plan is generous compared to what I’ve heard about other stores in the area. The owners are very concerned about their reputation and do not tolerate any of monkey

My guess is that someone appraised the car thinking a 2017 wouldn’t rack up a shop bill and didn’t look at say tires or brakes. Then the car went through safety check and probably needed an oil change, new set of what I assume are pretty expensive tires, and maybe a new set of pads which racked up a nice bill. Since

Yeah this is a perfect car to rip that awesome LT1 V8 out and stuff it in a Miata, S2000, 350Z, RX7, 240sx, etc.

That looks like a pretty decent crack even if the length is relatively short. At the very least it have to be filled and then a plate should be applied over it. At least that’s best way to repair the subframe mount damage on an E46 M3, not sure if it would apply to elsewhere on the unibody.

I bet it comes to the US in very small numbers, it might have a market with displaced Viper enthusiasts. Really hope they do a revived Sagaris!!!

Does anyone know of a good website to either read or buy the TokyoPop versions? I bought the first three volumes when I was in middle school and various ones since but I’d like to finish the collection.

I like the new design a lot especially the SLR style exhaust but when it comes to TVR’s past designs I most wish to see on this new platform is a new Sagaris. And to keep with the Ford engine theme a Cosworth touched Voodoo engine would be fitting of such a crazy design.

Its why Cadillac is doing terrible with leasing too...the residuals suck. Why lease a new ATS or CTS when you can find plenty of low mileage off-lease cars for $20-25k. These Alfa’s should be a steal for the second owners if they can put up with the headaches.

I love black but when a color as unique as Merlin Purple is available I just can’t resist. Same reason why I would only get a Camaro SS 1LE in Krypton Green.

But the curse!

Very interesting color too, there are a couple RS7's in my area with it. I like Toyota’s Cement Gray a little bit more though.

For added “pureness” I’d probably manual swap it too.

A Merlin Purple RS6 is high on my “If I win the Powerball” list.

Personally I’d like to see all Prototypes disappear. The classes were never all that interesting as you had maybe 2-3 competitive teams in LMP1 and with LMP2 being a spec series with no recognizable manufacturer support it is hard to be a fan. The way forward as I see it would be to up downforce and power on the GTE

Still think the Camaro SS 1LE is the best bang for your buck in this pony car war but Ford definitely is getting closer.

Congratulations to Robb and everyone who worked on the Z06, that is quite the accomplishment. I look forward to the future stories.

I really like the style but the car needs to lose a few hundred pounds, a guy I see once in awhile on my commute has a black one and it looks absolutely menacing. Also, I distinctly remember him driving it the day after a snow storm and thinking he either doesn’t give a damn or the car is so good he drives it

Another tip I would give service and sales customers is that if the survey allows you to decide if you want to respond anonymously and you would like an issue to be rectified, DO NOT BE ANONYMOUS! This is especially important if you can go into detail in a comment section. If your dealer truly cares you will probably

Thank you for writing this. I feel that most of your sentiments also translate into the sales side of the surveys.
