But the Tea Party actually had some legitimate platforms. The Republicans just throw a bunch of shit that sounds “conservative” into a pot and think Ronald Reagan will materialize.

Agreed. As a registered Republican, but ideological Libertarian, the Libertarian Party is the GOP of fifty years ago. The Republican Party is some amalgamation of angry, neo-conservative evangelicals.

Unfortunately, cannon shots from 1776 don’t have an 80 nautical mile range, offer precision guidance at that range, allow for multiple round simultaneous impact, or offer the capability to punch through hardened targets, like bunkers.

Phalanx rounds are also basically worthless against anything other than a fast moving aircraft or missile. They’re designed to take out fast movers that are relatively close range (hence, Close-In Weapons System). These guns are to take out long range, hardened threats, like bunkers.

Tell that to the crew of Turret Two on the USS Iowa...

The 2016 Ford models should be getting Android Auto in the next couple of weeks. It’s been promised since they were released, and late build MY2016 cars have it, already. It’s the reason I bought a 2016 Mustang, rather than a 2015.
Like the OP, I refuse to have a tacky mount sticking out of my vents, CD slot, or

Same, and like you, I’m waiting for my 2016 Mustang to get it. I saw news on mustang6g.com that they’re reportedly releasing the update on 2-DEC, and of course, Android Auto users will not require the USB hub upgrade that Apple CarPlay users will.

That’s the Lockheed XF-104, developed into the F-104 Starfighter, designed by the man himself, Kelly Johnson.

That didn’t come with many technical details, but the aircraft is most definitely operational.

+1 for the great South Park reference!

Interesting tidbit about the various Distributed Common Ground Systems (Navy, Intelligence Community, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army) - there’s nothing actually common about any of them, other than a name and a purpose.

I really miss it. We’d get subs from Bruno’s, in Neptune City, then head to the track. The big block Modifieds were just unreal. Small block Mods were good, but jeez, there was nothing like a 2000 pound car with wide, sticky tires, and an 800 HP 454-cid or 460-cid engine.

I grew up at Wall Stadium, watching some of those guys race. Mods are oval track racing, for me. NASCAR is a distraction.

I said something to my wife before that, if you identify with Nirvana, and not Foo Fighters, you should be Gen X, or some intermediary between X and Millennial.

The generational handoff won’t help sports cars much either, Noble said, because there are fewer Generation Xers, or those about 35 to 50 years old. And the boomer children — the millennial generation — aren’t yet earning enough money to buy Mustangs, which start at $24,915, let alone a Corvette Z06 that can sell for

There are days that I miss working for Lockheed Martin, and as someone who directly contributed to the combat system aboard the USS Mason, today is one of them. AEGIS is a hell of a beast, and for all the bad parts about working for LM, that program is a shining beacon of hope, not just for the company, but for

Folly Beach, not Folly Island.

It’s insane. Hold on for an awesome ride!

Could Maynard not contribute a solid remix if either an APC or Puscifer track? His songs have worked so well in these movies and others.
