No, but Ford will sell more GT350s, and Audi will sell more R8s.

I am, but since they run this engine application in Prototype for the Tudor series, I was under the impression that this would be running in the LMP class at Le Mans...
The size difference is going to be pretty massive, at least for the long block, but the turbos and piping of the Ecoboost might make it a wash. One way or the other, this is about the race car. The road car wouldn’t have been developed without the intent to take it racing. But, why spend the money to integrate,…
It all comes down to developing one engine for both the road car and the race car (with some alterations, obviously) and fitting within the rules for the race series they plan to contest.
Yeah, you’re right. He kept the seat as far back as possible, and reclined almost as far as it would go. It was hilarious to see him getting in and out!
A kid in high school, who was roughly 6’6” and 350 pounds, used to drive a CRX. He sat almost literally in the back seat. One night, he was driving home, fell asleep, hit an embankment head on, flipped the car end-over-end, woke up a few hours later with the engine in the passenger seat, then walked five miles home.
I’m fairly certain that it’s going to be near identical to the roadgoing Ecoboost V6, which is almost identical to the engine that’s currently being run by Chip Ganassi in the IMSA DP class.
Those are actually proper racing shoes.
I can’t wait to hear the soundtrack of a full lap. Heel/toe downshifts are going to sound downright EVIL!
I love that broadside shot of the New Jersey!
I saw the B model in person a few weeks ago, and it’s absolutely stunning, in person. Like so many other things, pictures do NOT do it justice.
My sweet, gentle Jesus. That is a fantastic picture.
There’s the distinct possibility that the deck surface could crack under repeated landings, and spraying water might make the steel more brittle.
I’m fairly certain you know exactly dick about combat air power.
Here’s a picture I took this morning that shows how the exit is configured. Not much they can do...
I doubt there’s much they can do. I think the biggest factor is just the number of trucks that use the ramp. It’s constant. There’s always bound to be an overloaded truck coming into the port that needs to get off, and doesn’t judge their speed right, regardless of how the off-ramp is configured. It’s also a raised…
I’m sure it’s state-by-state, and probably has to do with available funding, resources, and manpower.
They actually still play out! I was going to catch them at Wonder Bar last year, but the days didn’t work. (I don’t live in Jersey any longer)
That’s a shame! They were fantastic! I still listen to their album from time-to-time...
We had some great venues, and some awesome bands - Catch 22 (and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution/Streetlight Manifesto, of course), Day 19, Inspecter 7, Professor Plum, the Royalties, One Cool Guy, etc. I can’t tell you how much time I spent driving between the Asbury Skate Park, Club Bene/Krome, and Birch Hill.
