I’m sure it’s state-by-state, and probably has to do with available funding, resources, and manpower.

They actually still play out! I was going to catch them at Wonder Bar last year, but the days didn’t work. (I don’t live in Jersey any longer)
That’s a shame! They were fantastic! I still listen to their album from time-to-time...
We had some great venues, and some awesome bands - Catch 22 (and Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution/Streetlight Manifesto, of course), Day 19, Inspecter 7, Professor Plum, the Royalties, One Cool Guy, etc. I can’t tell you how much time I spent driving between the Asbury Skate Park, Club Bene/Krome, and Birch Hill.
Came here to say this. That he’s an Able Seaman means that he’s been in the Navy for, most likely, less than two years. That isn’t enough time to even digest your job, let alone understand the whole scope of the mission and how the ship goes about its business.
These guys were definitely one of the bands that I’ve seen like a dozen times. They’d come rolling through central Jersey, where we had an AWESOME scene, and put on a great show, at least once a year. Between them, the Bosstones, and Catch-22, I had no money in the late 90s from all the shows!
So, the ATS and Camaro are on the Alpha platform.
You’re high.
Definitely mid-$40s. I priced out some for fun, and was surprised that I could actually afford one.
It’s an awesome idea, but the physics just won’t work out. Now, if we could just tether the flinger to the Earth with this massive carbon fiber pole I’ve constructed, the offsetting forces would be transferred to the Earth, rather than to the spaceship.
I think I’ve seen them use Moonfish as an ingredient on ‘Chopped’ and if I recall correctly, it’s a good fish to eat, something like Grouper.
Man, some poor fucking whale is just swimming along, doing fucking whale stuff, eating seals or plankton, or something else, and all of a sudden, this giant fucking MASS of a spaceship hits it in the damn head!
May I remind you of Newton’s Third Law?
MATHS IS HARD AT GIZMODO!
My old boss did that, and as far as I know, still does. I believe he told me he was getting about 20 MPG, loaded, when he first got the thing, and when he hit ~75k miles, that went up to the mid-twenties!
CRAZY IVAN!
That might or might not have been the case, but regardless, I can search Google for images that show her shape, and she doesn’t have those guns.
That’s not the point I was making, or have made, but it is relevant. It’s not necessarily that union workers are too stupid to do jobs that are paid way more than they’re worth, it’s that there’s just zero reason to pay unskilled labor that much money. Also, I’d like to note that smart != skills, and vice versa. I’ve…
That’s exactly what I was thinking - like...I’ve seen her naked in GoT...when did she get boobs?
