Yup! I don't have any sources on hand, but I do remember reading several times them saying that they did to a half-ass job on Dark Souls for PC and that wouldn't be the case with Dark Soul 2.

So if I'm understanding this correctly, I don't need the figures or pad to actually play the game? Also, I'm still having trouble understanding what this game is all about. What am I really doing in the game? It sounds like I can hook up with people on my 3DS and run around levels fighting things / bosses and playing

You can pickup Dark Souls for like $20.00 at any GameStop, now. You shouldn't be playing a terrible F2P version of it.

I think covering up the ends with the home button and the camera would be a good call. You could make holes, if necessary, but that right there is a good example of wasted space.

Just make up a new name for it. How about... The Power Bar?

Did I just read a review of the new iPhone on Gizmodo that wasn't riddled with fanboyism? Did I? I just may come back...

One step further, can we just stop blaming? Everyone take some personal responsibility and sit the fuck down.

I applaud them for making something so different. Who knows, this could get the next best thing. I'll be trying it out, for sure if the SteamOS thing picks up even the slightest bit of traction.

AGREED! Wow... It's called dramatic effect. Just because you're so desensitized by everything the entertainment industry doesn't mean we need to cut out / shorten things that you're used to seeing.

"Our budget and therefore lifestyle choices just don't leave room for doing things like that as often as you. Maybe next time."

This was a timely article. In the past, it's been more about eating out 3 times a day on the weekends and such. Since my girlfriend moved to college, I've been driving to pick her up every other weekend. This is about $80.00 in gas. Now, I can afford that just fine. I can even afford eating out most of the weekend.

I kind of like, "I'm trying to stick to a budget that doesn't accommodate things like this. Maybe next time." I too feel like "afford" isn't the proper word, so communicating that you really don't want to spend money on something is probably the most honest way to do it.

I can't say enough how right you are. Torchlight 2 literally did everything right.

A little off-topic, but would I get a lot from the books after reading only 3 (a long while, ago) and seeing the movies? I feel like I've been spoiled.

THIS! I hate those things SO much.

I'm literally going back and forth between D3 and Dark Souls and I was just like... What? I wanted to wreck things.

Is it just me or does the console version seem quite a bit harder than the PC version? Also, are the skills different? They seem to be, also.

Me too! I am SO excited for this.

Since all the kernels are the same, I'm assuming anyone can write whatever C++ libraries they want for the system and write their code / assemble in Visual Studio. I haven't read much on this, but that was my impression of having all of the kernels being the same.

I wouldn't call this backpedaling. XNA in Visual Studio has been able to publish to Xbox for a while, I believe. Even if that wasn't the case, there's been a big push to bring all of their platforms to the same Kernel. This makes for easy development.
