I think you’re right. I would say the majority of people that were actually aware of his music were laughing at him and hate-enjoying his one “big” song. It’s too bad that gimmicky rappers like that get the attention of publications like Noisey (because of hipster attitudes about rap music) and not legitimately good

Wasn’t the cocaine exposed at one of the shows as being strictly baking powder/soda? It reminds me of when the Game used to down an entire fifth of Hennessy on stage and (of course) it turned out to be apple juice.

Stitches is no longer cool, right? I mean, I don’t think he ever was, but people kinda liked him for a bit. Hopefully people have moved on.

When I first saw that video, I remember the guy who gets knocked out looking like he was smiling at first, not really knowing he was in a “fight.” He kinda gets grabbed and spun around with this odd smile on his face, before this piece of shit got a lucky chin tap on the dude.

The Tom Brady fuckboy fandom is in full force on Facebook. (Say that 12 times fast.)

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe said the “rest of the NFL would revolt” if Brady’s suspension was overturned and he only received a fine. I’m not sure if that means owners or players (probably more owners, but I’m hoping he means players.) The rumor is the most likely outcome is a reduced suspension (from 4 to 2 games.)

Here is the website for California’s “unclaimed property.” It’s worth checking out.

This sounds like something straight out of a History of Violence.

I feel like I’ve seen a video of this somewhere before.

I’ve heard that Parsons is extremely likable and trusted by players around the league. He certainly seems to be more of a player/agent, rather than player/gm, and its treated as such.

Nice, i was trying to find this on Youtube. I was in eighth grade when this came out, and I loved how clever he was. So fucking funny. And yes it’s really too bad he’s not around to weigh in on this type of shit. RIP.

What neighborhood was this in, if you don’t mind me asking?

that quote reminds me of a Greg Giraldo bit where he makes fun of an area being described as “overwhelmingly Hispanic.” Inundation is a very loaded word for this guy to use.

Well, it’s a reference to Menace II Society. Which has certainly been played on BET.

Oh, ok, Sweet Sweetback. I didn’t know BET was a 24 hour running Blaxploitation movie.

the discount stores (Ross, Marshall’s) are fine for home furnishings too. Linens, cookware, etc. I just make sure to check that there are no stains, fraying, tears, parts missing, broken parts, etc.

Wow, this song is dope. I miss this latent 2000’s boy band r&b. Surprised I hadn’t heard this before.

I knew a rich Marin girl in high school who was given an H2 for her 16th birthday. Money trumps environmentalism in Marin all the time.

One minor correction, unless they opened a new brewery in Petaluma, which would be brand-new spanking news to me: You listed Stone Go To (your no. 8 selection) as being from Petaluma, when Stone Brewing is actually in Escondido, CA, or San Diego if you wanted to be broad about it.

What is logical about what this dude just posted? Those beliefs DO hurt people.
