Honestly, I never understood why it was so underrated. It was like the critics thought: big budget, amazing soundtrack, big stars - the original must be better because artistic blah blah! I thought it greatly improved upon Abre Los Ojos and adhered to its essence.

I'm I the only one that finds Gene's shtick irritating? The rest of the cast does a great job with delivery while Gene's one-liners land with the subtlety of a foghorn. I find it distracting, though he has had storylines that allow for more understated delivery.

What was the implication in Jimmy's exit line, "It's my word against yours"? Does he mean that his past will catch up to him and everyone would believe Chuck, or with no material evidence they will believe the upstanding estate lawyer Jimmy over the nut Chuck?

Brink! is obviously the best Disney Channel original movie to date.
