Exactly. I can just imagine some poor artist’s eyes bulging out of his head when he sees that they included a trailer with his placeholder art.

Yeah, my assumption is placeholder art that they had no intention of leaving in the final game, but whoever put together the trailer didn’t know that

I mean... smart money is on some exhausted artist dropping in a placeholder image and then forgetting to change it (or, not realizing that it hadn’t been changed before it was shown to the public).

You’re comparing apples with hippopotamuses, but okay.

Multiplayer is a big improvement over AW. The toned down boost jumping and all that nonsense really brings back the importance of winning gunfights instead of being a good skeet shooter. Maps are better, killstreaks are better. Very happy to have 3arc back.

This fucking mission was the coolest part of any CoD campaign in a long time.

The map design is largely fantastic for the reasons you listed. The extra routes make traveling the level so much fun.

This is the first Call of Duty I went out and bought since MW1+2. I must say, to me, it’s just as enjoyable if not more, and the co-op is fantastic. This game is much better than all the crap CoD games in between.

Instead, Black Ops III multiplayer is basically a slightly revised version ofAdvanced Warfare’s multiplayer,

I’m enjoying it again. I think the smaller playfields in multiplayer make ALL the difference, at least to me.

I’m liking it quite a bit. I haven’t touched Zombies, but I’m halfway through the campaign and have put several hours into multiplayer. I also haven’t played a Call of Duty since Black Ops 1, so I’ve missed a lot.

I actually might get this. It will be my first CoD. Destiny was my first console FPS that I actually liked.

I quite like Black Ops 3! Too bad not many of my friends like Call of Duty, finally it has co-op campaign (after World at War), but only a handful of people to play it with.

The multiplayer is fantastic, and it really feels like Fahey is intentionally selling it short. The traversal is nothing like Advance Warfare, and far more akin to Titanfall in style. The maps are actually bigger than ever before, including hidden routes, swimming, and actually forcing players to stop camping for

omg, Sarah Hall’s level near the end........fucking great

I’m loving the multiplayer.

So the campaign is great, but the multiplayer is lackluster.

Sorry who doesn’t want to make money AT THEIR JOB? The developers have been working on this for 3 years, long days, hard hours, a game they no doubt poured themselves into whatever your view on the product.

Really? (I mean I appreciate gestures like that too but really? You have to be that guy?)

Idk, with gamer gate and the shit the Witcher 3 had to deal with even though it was a universal success....
