Wait.. what?
Wait.. what?
I sure hope so.
I think a major flaw with the show is that God is missing and never shows up. We don't really know what God is like except by what others say about Him. There was a big hint that the writer guy is really God, but that doesn't really seem to fit with the actual story - it seems more like a last minute "wouldn't it be…
That's a really smart continuity point that I doubt the writers thought of. Kudos!!
Agreed
Politics aside, story wise, the interesting unexpected thing to do is have Cass defy the expectations of religious conservatives regarding what God wants. And logically, God caring about the minutia of human behavioral preferences is stupid compared to real moral issues such as hypocrisy.
The only problem I have with them doing Cthulu is that anything remotely nasty (and expensive to render) they just have take over a human body.

So, what's the green square in Africa for? The predicted landing site?
All I saw was a normal object spinning, until I read that the illusion depended on flipping the frames. So then I crossed by eyes the other way, and saw the neat illusion.
"This video is private" - is there an alternate link?
While eliminating smudges is a worthwhile goal, after using a stylus, I've come to the conclusion that finger grease is needed as a lubricant to prevent screen friction.
LOL! Touché! Really I'm not normally like that. It was just a "last straw" sort of day. I still think the article is dumb, but my reaction to it was way out of proportion. Sorry for my accidental stroll down troll lane.
Agreed. The article was really dumb informationally, but my post was stupid emotionally. I think I was in rant mode for other reasons and this just pushed my buttons.
I'm a little bit confused. The article date is January, and it talks about summer films that have already passed. Is this a semi-annual revisit of January predictions? If it's a repost/revisit it should have a new prologue/intro. I read the thing twice but didn't see an explanation. But I've been known to be…
I've never been in one though I believe you can rent time in one in NYC. But I've heard you can simulate a similar experience in the cheap. You just need a white noise track in your iPod, half ping pongs over your eyes, and a red bulb in your lamp.
Seriously? While "organic" on food labels can end up being meaningless without legal regulation of the use of the term, it's still pretty damn common knowledge by now that the term as used in reference to consumables has a distinctly different meaning than it's use as a chemistry term.
Thanks for this! I'd love it if you'd send someone to Sundance (et al) every year to report on the upcoming indie sci-fi flicks/shorts. (Or send me ;-) )
Don't leave us in suspense. What was the winning entry?
