I'm fine with regulation, I honestly wouldn't care if they banned assault rifles. I don't see what purpose they serve in civilian hands. That said I am loath to lose freedoms for the many because of actions of a few psychopaths. Where does one stop with regards to regulation. What if we put these regulations in

Yep, and banning alcohol worked so well at quelling violence during prohibition.

Nice fucking job NRA. Let's fight a liberal knee jerk response with another knee jerk response. At least the liberals reacted immediately, though poorly in my opinion. The NRA actually took some time to respond and this is the bullshit they come up with. I am for gun rights but I am most certainly anti-NRA.

It's a slippery slope that is for sure. Where I am not adverse to the idea of an assault weapons ban it does make me wonder where we stop. No Guns? Fine. No Knives? Well okay. No violent video games? Um... No R rated movies or prime time dramas on TV? How about laws that put people in jail for saying bad

People are going to blame video game, they're going to blame loud music, they're going to blame social media, they're going to blame guns and all gun owners. The only thing they're not going to blame, it seems, is the fucktard with the gun who committed the crime.

I have not seen the movie so I can't comment on this fully but... As I recall The Hobbit book was geared toward a younger audience especially compared to LOTR. From the sound of this article you are bashing the movie because it's too close to the source material.

I'm not a hypocrite. I am all for people being fans of things. That doesn't mean that they can't creep me out as a bunch of men obsessed with a little girls cartoon tend to do.

I'm sorry, I'm all for being a fan of something you enjoy even if it might seem weird to those outside the genre. But Bronies are just fucking creepy.

For those of you hoping for anything from the expanded universe of books and things it sounds like you're out of luck. From what I've heard none of the EU is going to be used as cannon in the upcoming movies. :(

Somebody will buy the brand and we will see Twinkies again before long. Worry not.

Word is that all the book canon is out. Which is kind of a bummer for said Thrawn trilogy which was beyond cool in my opinion. But after a while the books became extremely convoluted so it might be a good thing. Still wouldn't mind some badass Mara Jade action though.

Admittedly the channel has been suffering in recent months. That said there are still a lot of really cool people who work there. Matt Myra, Blair Herder and Jessica Chobot and Morgan Webb to name a few. Love or hate the network a lot of talented people who are apart of geek and gamer culture are out of a job and

Jesus people! Quite bitching. The entire purchase price goes to charity. I'll buy just for that reason.

Maybe you weren't maybe you were one of those who didn't like it on it's own merit. That said I do notice a very interesting proclivity for people to join the crowd, especially with bashing on things with the anonymity of the internet to aid them. And, let's be honest most gamers, including myself, have the tendency

It's easy to blast a company when you're not thinking about the fact that a lot of people depend on it for income. Thanks for being the voice of reason.

I've played through both games twice and I have to say that both have their merits and flaws. I had no issue with the gameplay in either nor do I really have a preference on which is better. I think the overall story in DA2 was far more interesting than the typical Lord of the Rings type epic that was DAO. It was

Most of the time I have my phone or my laptop within reaching distance. If I feel the need to Tweet, which in all honesty is rare, all I have to do is reach over and do it. I never did think that having those apps on a console made any sense and now with tablets being so popular the point is utterly moot.

I disagree and I think more than a few people believe that as well they just aren't heard above the frenzy. The only issue I has with DA2 was the repeat environments. I loved the story and I loved the companion characters. DAO was also excellent but I never had the attachment toward my Warden and his companions

You are absolutely not alone in this and given by the amount of cos-play and other fan based forms of expression there are a lot of people who enjoyed DA2. The problem is that haters like to bitch and bitch loudly especially when there's a bandwagon they can get on to make themselves feel better about being them.

I have never thought about that as an issue. I have gotten a little icky feeling in Skyrim when changing from 3rd to first person views but I adjust pretty quickly. What a bummer.
