yeah, and that makes sense to me because thats in the mid 70's- the idea of watching pornography by yourself was still considered a wild concept then (and given technology, that wasn’t even a *thing* for like 99% of people.) Salo (IMO) doesn’t lose it’s transgression because it’s also banal in parts. John Waters noted it’s definitely a film not done by amateurs and it’s probably the best Art film masquerading as exploitation (or vice versa) film ever made. It’s also shore purty to look at in parts.

Ohhhhh I’m sorry but I will have to disagree on some of that..... Avalanche, Killer Fish, and Mac and Me were completely hysterical.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say trash, but I found them pretty disappointing. The riffing, as you point out, has a poor rhythm, often coming too quickly and drowning out the movie itself. It gets better as they episodes progress, but it never quite finds a groove.

And I will take every opportunity, whenever you take your opportunity to tell you, you’re wrong. (Did like the remake tho’)
