On the issue of stockpiling scripts so they can work through a writers’ strike, the DGA contract will be up soon, and they’re waiting to go back to the table until after the WGA strike would begin.

While it does suck to work on a show that never airs, I feel like people are losing sight of the fact that “shot” does not equal “ready to air.” The work that goes into editing and finishing can be pretty massive.

Thanks for setting me straight. I still think it’s odd they didn’t time the Blu-Ray release to come out BEFORE the sequel.

I remember when Tron: Legacy came out and there was no way to purchase the OG Tron at the time.

Apparently, it’s a cable channel.

The ad-free men’s tour and the ad-free women’s tour were (are) the international coverage. There were no built-in breaks for ads. The ad-riddled men’s feed required an entire extra production team and set of commentators. It cost real serious money to put on the ad-supported feed (and it’s AWFUL to watch when you have

Can’t argue with any of these, but needs more Hot Fuzz.

Same. Lived there from 82-86 and still can’t donate. It’s stunning that they won’t lift that restriction in light of all this.

That’s not how movie editing works.

I prefer to remember him for his role as Mild Mannered Pate in Dark Souls II.

The DGA does cover ADs. IATSE does not cover ADs.

Power level is irrelevant if the game does not run on MacOS. And the ARM chips don’t allow for running Windows through bootcamp.

Rosetta 2 doesn’t translate Windows-Only games to Mac. It translates Intel-Mac programs to ARM Macs.
